FAQ
- What ratios are the pass marks?
- AA normal text is 4.5:1, AA large text is 3:1, and AAA normal text is 7:1. These follow WCAG 2.
- What counts as large text?
- WCAG treats 18pt regular, or 14pt bold, as large. This page reports both the normal and large thresholds.
- Does a pass mean the design is accessible?
- Contrast is one requirement. Size, weight, and colour blindness still matter.
